Equans is looking for a Mobile A/C Engineer to join our team in the South of England. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Ensure all Spaces, Environmental/Temperature Control rooms, and equipment operate efficiently with minimal downtime during breakdowns.
- Fault find and repair all A/C units, refrigeration systems, and chiller plants on site.
- Maintain the site’s F-Gas logbook accurately, including losses, recoveries, and additions.
- Manage waste certificates and cylinder returns in line with compliance processes.
- Calculate GWPs and CO2e’s and carry out leak checks at required frequencies.
- Maintain and operate portable and fixed air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Plan and coordinate subcontractors during refrigeration service visits.
- Recover, repair, pressure test, vacuum dehydrate, charge and re-commission A/C units as needed.
- Process PPM and reactive jobs, diagnose defects and report faults timely and within budget.
- Complete daily job sheets and PPM logs in real time using CAFM systems.
- Participate as a member of the on-call rota for the contract.

Who are you?
- Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship, or similar approved training qualification.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification as an air conditioning engineer.
- Fully conversant with all major manufacturer systems and equipment.
- Hold C&G award in 2079-11 F-Gas Cat1 and ODS regulations.
- Awareness of L8 regulations.
- Experience maintaining relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to defined standards.
- Recognised health and safety qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH) desirable.
- Ability to read and work to mechanical and electrical schematic drawings.
- A professional, smart appearance with excellent communication skills to represent Equans onsite.
