Equans is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Long Bennington. This is a full‑time role with competitive salary and benefits.
General Overview
To become a fully trained Electrician to the standard laid down by C.I.T.B. and Trade Unions and achieve the National Vocational Qualification NVQ3. The apprentice will be site‑based and expected to travel by their own means within the employer’s operating area, understanding, implementing and adhering to Equans SHEQ requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist and carry out project defined electrical work to a high standard as directed by the site manager.
- Material co‑ordination.
- Compliance with specification / compliance with materials and workmanship.
- Attend all relevant training courses including all SHEQ courses arranged by the employer including Tool Box Talks.
- Make repairs and restore damaged parts (in all weather conditions, some jobs may be at height).
- Maintain and care for all company tools.
- Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks.
- Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day.
