Equans is looking for a Transformation Programme Analyst to join our team on an 18-month fixed term basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

At the centre of this journey is our Transformation team—a dynamic, collaborative function providing oversight, guidance, and support across our strategic Programmes and Projects. The team plays a crucial role in enabling successful delivery by driving consistency, transparency, and performance across the transformation landscape.
As a Transformation Programme Analyst, you will play a vital role in enabling data‑driven, evidence‑based decision making across the entire Transformation Portfolio. You will provide the analytical insight that underpins how we assess delivery confidence, track strategic alignment, monitor financial performance, and understand risks and resource capacity. The role will provide exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence key decisions at the heart of a major business transformation. This role can be based anywhere across the UK.
What will you deliver?
- Reporting: Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards covering plans / critical path, RAID, benefits realisation and resource capacity.
- Portfolio Analysis: Undertake in-depth analysis of programme & project data to help understand performance, status, emerging trends and identify risks & dependencies.
- Governance, Assurance & Compliance: Support the transformation board, exec board and group governance by preparing insights to support delivery and enable decision making. Perform assurance checks and track compliance against agreed PMO processes.
- Planning & Prioritisation: Maintain portfolio roadmap, conduct resource capacity modelling against plans. Ensure cross‑programme dependencies are identified, visible and tracked. Support the prioritisation process by analysing the impact of new projects or BAU initiatives on existing commitments.

Who Are We Looking For
- Knowledge and experience of delivering PMO activities in a portfolio, programme or project environment.
- Knowledge of working on Transformation portfolios, programme and projects covering all stages of the delivery lifecycle.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to listen, question and challenge. Build ongoing relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills recognising complexities across different departments and divisions. Able to build relationships at all levels from Programme Director through to all members of the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to articulate and translate complex detail to appropriate audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, plan and prioritise accordingly.
- Ability to break down complex problems to identify constituent parts and root causes and provide comprehensive, but pragmatic resolution options.
- Cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management skills.
- Proactive with high levels of energy, tenacity, and enthusiasm to deliver results. Able to work independently.
- Ability to prioritise issues and demands across multiple Programmes or Projects.
- Flexible and adaptable with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven organisational and planning ability. Good at working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
