Equans Data Centres are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical, to support our growing Data Centre business. We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients' Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to join our innovative team based in High Wycombe. The Senior Project Engineer – Electrical will be responsible for managing the electrical aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.
What you will deliver
- Ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
- Coordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
- Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
- Develop and agree electrical submission and approval process with the client and design team
- Be involved in the overall programming and planning of the build
- Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
- Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings
- Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management
- Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives

- Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor
- Proven technical knowledge of Electrical Services
- Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve
- A keen desire to continually develop knowledge further
- Be self‑motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
- Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Attention to Health and Safety matters
- Commercially astute
- Experience in the data centres sector is desirable
- Degree or equivalent in an Electrical discipline is desirable
