Equans is looking for a Facilities Supervisor at Harrow Crown Court, HA1 4TU. This is a full‑time permanent role working 40 hours per week. Salary £30,000 – £33,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00. Some early starts, evenings, and weekends may be required.
What will you deliver?
Reporting to the area facilities manager, you will lead the cleaning teams for HMCTS sites, ensuring the building remains clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety, while maintaining a professional manner with all staff and the public. You will be responsible for supervising our cleaning teams to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and customer service across a large‑scale government contract. The role requires managing multiple sites and must be able to travel across the region.
Security & Vetting
BPSS level vetting is required, including DBS clearance. Candidates must pass.
- Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
- Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements.

- Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience of industry/public cleaning services.
- Previous experience supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations.
- Ability to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent high standard.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload with limited supervision.
- Basic IT and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Desirable
- CosHH knowledge.
- Understanding of basic health and safety principles.
- Experience leading remote teams.
- Good communication and customer care skills.
- Team player demonstrating proactive problem solving.
