Equans is looking for a Project Manager - EV Charge point to join our team working from home with some additional national travel. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package. The Project Manager will ensure the safe and profitable delivery of both public and workplace EV charging infrastructure through sub-contractors, EV Chargepoint manufacturers and supply chain. They will support the design and installation of electric vehicle charging equipment for commercial and public sector clients across the UK and deliver against targets in a safe and responsible manner. What will you deliver? Ensure the health and safety of the team and sub-contractors is closely monitored and full compliance with Equans Management System Ensure full compliance with CDM through Equans Management System Meet clients and, if required, support or carry out technical surveys on proposed installation locations or identify key locations for deployment Support the team in liaising with ICP/DNOs, back end system design, electrical design, installation specification and equipment specification Cost management and reconciliation through PO/ Invoice procedures, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget Customer liaison Good problem solving skills and able to rectify quickly and effectively on sites. Build a close working relationship with clients and contractor account managers who will assist with day-to-day enquiries Complete project planning and management, client liaison and management of site operatives Installation crew management and support What can we offer you? Electrical design background Experience and understanding of EV related civils works and Street works – Permitting and Noticing Health and Safety – Managing CDM projects with PD & PC experience Experience and understanding of EV related electrical utility networks Experience in the design and installation of electric vehicle charging equipment Electrical qualifications such as; 18th Edition, 2391/2394/2395/2396 City & Guilds or similar Experience managing projects from inception to completion Able to build quality relationships with Subcontractors, Business Development Managers, National Sales Managers, Sales Support department, Customer care department, Key Customer – Facilities and Property Managers Who are we?
