Equans is recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor based in Long Bennington. This is a permanent full‑time role working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the engineers/contractors, ensuring they meet targets and goals of all projects.
  • Manage the electrical contracts, including direct reporting staff and sub‑contractors.
  • Ensure the electrical certification is completed and processed to meet Equans and client expectations.
  • Monitor the team’s production, resolving task‑related issues or inhibitors to production for direct and subcontractor work streams.
  • Efficiently use resources, labour, materials, plant, and equipment to a productive conclusion.
  • Ensure projects are compliant, meet all H&S requirements and any site‑specific conditions, conduct audits and reports as per compliance processes.
  • Control, monitor and achieve NICEIC electrical compliance throughout all projects, including annual inspections.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • JIB Gold card or equivalent NVQ3 electrical qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrical field
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ideally experienced with the installation of Solar PV panels, NICEIC and other external auditing companies
  • Familiar with IT systems
  • Must have evidence of the right to work in the UK
