EQUANS are recruiting for a Projects Co‑ordinator to be based in Crewe. This is a permanent full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,746 – £30,000 and a benefits package.

General Overview

Equans delivers a comprehensive and quality service to multi‑sector customers across the UK, providing 24/7 reactive and planned preventative maintenance for technical building services and undertaking specialist project work such as plant replacements and commercial property refurbishments. The role is office/home based with meetings across different sites and at the local Crewe office. It supports the project management team within a Facilities Management account for Cheshire East Council.

Key Accountabilities

  • Preparation of final accounts for all capital & minor works projects
  • Creation of labour utilisation reports for all project operatives on a weekly basis
  • Management of POEM across the account with senior project managers and finance business partner
  • Creation of IOs for new projects and updating the projects tracker
  • Management of all POs across projects & minor works on COUPA, including raising and receipting them
  • Management of purchase card logs for all project and minor works managers
  • Appraisal of earned values via the WIP report and meetings with project managers to allow accurate billing
  • Monitor and manage project WIP/Debt to an acceptable level
  • Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored
  • Attend meetings with clients, sub‑contractors, suppliers and other company members as necessary
  • Manage the capital projects tracker and ensure its data is correct for accurate financial forecasts
  • Input timesheets for project operatives into SAP in a timely fashion
  • Creation of monthly payment applications for capital works on projects
  • Ensure project managers manage variations correctly
  • Hold monthly 1‑to‑1s with all project managers to keep the tracker, forecasts and POEM dates up‑to‑date
  • Oversee administration of items relating to the costing of projects
  • Achieve financial budget targets set by the Account Manager
  • Maintain compliance with Company ISO Quality Management Systems
  • Perform other reasonable activities as necessary
