Equans is looking for a Receptionist to join our team working in St David’s hospital, Canton, Cardiff, CF11 9XB. This is a fixed‑term part‑time role working 34 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £22,471.28 per annum and a benefits package.

Shift Times:

  • Thursday / Friday – 09:00 – 15:00
  • Saturday / Sunday – 07:00 – 19:00

What will you deliver?

The Receptionist will work unsupervised, organise own workload and demonstrate initiative providing reception duties and business support services for St David’s and Monnovale hospital. The role also includes cleaning all offices, patient rooms, toilets, day rooms, assisting with clean up following patient feeding, damp dusting, barrier cleans, high level dusting and spot cleaning as required.

Who we are looking for?

  • Proven experience working in an office environment, ideally with frontline customer service responsibilities.
  • Proficient in IT, including the use of databases and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • First Aid and Fire Warden qualifications are desirable; candidates willing to undertake this training will also be considered.
  • Cleaning experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Food hygiene certification is desirable.
