Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join our facilities team on an 18 month fixed-term contract at Central Middlesex University Hospital in Park Royal, NW10 working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid lunch break.

- Duration: 18 month apprenticeship
The role
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Successfully undertake and complete the apprenticeship – Business Administrator level 3
- General office administration, including procurement of office supplies, uniforms, PPE etc.
- To provide administrative support including answering telephones, filing, printing, photocopying, and assistance with keeping operational records up to date.
- To maintain site document management system and undertake typing and formatting of policies and procedures to comply with corporate standards (when required to do so).
- To liaise with internal support services such as IT, QSE, Health & Safety, Procurement, Learning & Development etc.
- Dealing with additional ad-hoc tasks such as client queries, diary management, external queries etc.
- To undertake training to develop a capability in Maximo CAFM administration leading to the raising and receipting Purchase Orders, generating PPMs and processing Work Orders.
- To undertake appropriate training to develop in the role
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a requirement to attend a virtual college training one day per week.
The person
- GCSE C/4 grade or above in Maths and English desirable
- Need to have good IT skills
- Need to have experience using MS Office
- Possess good communication skills
- Need to have a flexible approach and be willing to learn
