Equans is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Bristol working on our contracts with Southmead Hospital and Bristol LIFT on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Manage the site delivery of all Major Fabric, M&E Variation & LIFT Lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team on site, to manage site design, contract management, financial management, H&S, site management, snagging and hangover of every project, as required.
- This senior role is key to the EQUANS projects team to ensure the projects function is fully supported; the SPM will be responsible for supporting the current team.
- The SPM will need to be responsible and take direct ownership for all Major projects where there is risk to commercial, financial and H&S matters. This may be on NHS CAPEX projects or in supporting the wider EQUANS business.
- This Senior role will be supporting our customer on new initiatives and driving opportunity, will need to assure confidence in our delivery model and capability and ensure relationships are maintained and built in spirit of acting as a trusted advisor.
- Manage works implementation to ensure projects are delivered safely; on time; on budget and are to a high standard from inception to final account stage.
- Ensure the project pipeline is managed in accordance with all contractual KPI requirements, while complying with Equans internal governance processes.

Who are you?
- Experience operating in the public and/or private FM sector with a demonstrable track record of directly managing Fabric, M&E Project works within a large and complex estate is essential, preferably within a Healthcare environment.
- Ability to show understanding of Local Authority legislation, Planning Applications, Fire and Building Regulations Approvals.
- A sound knowledge of building and engineering services design and associated British Standards.
- A sound knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act; Construction Design and Management Regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a building/construction or engineering discipline (Desirable).
- Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) (Desirable).
- Experience & knowledge of the duties under CDM (Desirable).
- Experience & knowledge of Passive Fire Protection (PFP) requirements (Desirable).
- Experiences and knowledge in the Building Safety Act (Desirable).
