Part‑time Afternoon Cleaner – Bristol Crown Court (BS1 1DB)
Equans is looking for a part‑time afternoon cleaner to join our team on a permanent basis working 15 hours per week. Salary is £12.90 per hour with a benefits package.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday, 16:00 – 19:00.
Key Responsibilities
As the on‑site cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety while maintaining a professional manner with all staff and the general public.
Security Clearance
BPSS level vetting is required, including DBS clearance. Ability to pass is essential.
- Identity verification (passport or photo ID, birth certificate, etc.)
- Employment history (past 3 years) – gaps must be supported by HMRC statements.
- Right to work status in the UK (citizenship or valid share code).
- Unspent criminal record (disclosure of any unspent convictions).
- Significant periods abroad (any 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years).

Qualifications
- Experience as a cleaner
- At least one year experience in a customer‑focused environment
- Current DBS (ideally no older than 12 months)
- Ability to acquire BPSS vetting
