Equans is looking for a Mobile Engineering Supervisor to join our team working across the Midlands on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package. The role is working on our Midlands Mobile contract. The majority of the work will be based in the West Midlands covering Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent but it will also cover other parts of the Midlands.
We are looking for candidates from an Electrical background, ideally with some mechanical knowledge also.
What will you deliver?
- Manage a team of 6 Engineers, plus sub contractors
- Cover numerous sites that fall within the contract such as Stoke Schools and Guide Dogs
- Work on the tools when required and also carry out office based tasks such as running audits and checking quotes
- Managing, directing, and assisting staff in a safe and efficient manner
- Deliver training to staff on relevant subjects as appropriate so experience is gained
- Ensure work carried out by the team is at the highest standard and act as an escalation point if necessary
- Manage absence and utilization within the team effectively ensuring the rota is covered as necessary
- Take part in the on call rota
