Equans is looking for an Assistant Retrofit Technical Solutions Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time role, based from the office with frequent travel to sites. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.
What will you deliver
- Support the delivery of Retrofit Coordination on live projects, ensuring compliance with PAS2035 standards and best practices.
- Assist with quality assurance (QA) on Retrofit Assessments, Coordination, and Designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
- Carry out pre-, mid- and post-works inspections on site, reporting findings to lead Retrofit Coordinators and the wider team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners.
- Verify project data, audit trails, and technical documentation to support compliance audits and funding applications.
- Work with project managers and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into project plans while promoting sustainability best practice.
- Proactively resolve technical challenges and contribute to project reviews, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
- Keep up to date with industry innovations, policy changes, and funding schemes to ensure projects align with the latest standards.

Who are you
- Retrofit Coordinator Qualification (or working towards).
Knowledge of PAS2035 compliance, building regulations, and retrofit standards. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable collaborating with contractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites.
Desirable
- Retrofit Assessor Qualification (or working towards).
- Experience with SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) or other sustainability initiatives.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency software, data analysis, and low‑carbon technologies.
You will bring a can‑do attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for sustainability and energy efficiency, with a keenness to develop your career in Retrofit.
