Overview
Equans is looking for a Tiler to join our team in Belfast on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role to carry out repairs and maintenance work to the NIHE, achieving high standards of customer care and satisfaction. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
General Overview
The Tiler is responsible for carrying out tiling work in residential and commercial properties managed by the company. This includes the installation, repair, and maintenance of tiled surfaces in various settings, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Tiler works within the repairs and maintenance division, addressing both routine and emergency tiling tasks.
What will you deliver?
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring precision and attention to detail
- Install tiles on walls, floors, and other surfaces in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required
- Grout and seal tiles to ensure a waterproof and durable finish
- Repair and replace damaged or broken tiles as part of routine maintenance or specific repair tasks
- Conduct inspections to assess the condition of tiled surfaces and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Participate in the company’s out‑of‑hours emergency repair rota as required

Who are we looking for?
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- Proven experience as a Tiler in a construction or repairs and maintenance setting
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurement and cutting
- Full UK driving licence
