Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaner to join our team in Newcastle Law courts, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 3LA on a permanent basis working 21 hours per week. On offer is a salary of Β£12.21 per hour and benefits package. Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 7:00 – 10:00 plus Monday and Tuesday 16:00-19:00.
Responsibilities
- Keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety while maintaining a professional manner with staff and the general public.
Requirements
- Experience as a Cleaner
- At least one year experience within a customer-focused environment
- Current DBS (Ideally no older than 12 months)
- Ability to acquire BPSS vetting
BPSS and Vetting
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance; ability to pass is essential. The BPSS process includes identity verification, employment history, right to work status, unspent criminal record, and periods abroad checks.
- Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
- Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps may require HMRC statements.
- Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
- Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
- Significant Periods Abroad: 6+ months abroad in the past 3 years.
