Equans is looking for an Apprentice Resident Liaison Office (RLO) to join our team in Hatfield. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

As this is a social value-based role, applicants must be located in or very near the W10 (West London) area to be eligible.

The Apprentice Resident Liaison Officer serves as a vital link between the construction team and residents, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly. This role involves being the primary point of contact for residents, facilitating smooth project execution, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The apprenticeship offers structured training, providing the ARLO with essential skills and insights into both the construction and customer service sectors.

What will you deliver?

Main Duties:

  • Act as the main point of contact between residents and the construction team during projects.
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential disruptions clearly and effectively.
  • Organise and support resident meetings, consultation events, and community engagement days.
  • Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions and provide administrative support to the site team.
  • Monitor on-site progress and resident concerns, escalating any issues where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with site managers, health & safety teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of construction works in occupied housing environments with minimal disruption.
  • Enrol in and complete a formal apprenticeship programme with regular reviews, mentoring, and training.
