We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to support our Connected Services business at Equans.
Key Activities
- Support the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all Connected Services submissions.
- Provide effective coordination and ensure a smooth bid process, timely inputs, and a high-quality final proposal.
- Support bidding activity across three business units—Connected Cities, EV Solutions, and Embedded Energy—impacting opportunities that range from major frameworks to long-term operational contracts.
- Work across multiple teams and disciplines, supporting a pipeline that contributes to the overall Connected Services performance.
- Maintain bid trackers, content libraries, and governance documentation.
- Identify risks to timelines, and ensure all elements of a bid are coherent and compliant.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in bid coordination, bid administration or proposal support, ideally within construction, infrastructure, energy services, highways, or related sectors.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with experience managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to review, edit and structure technical information clearly and professionally.
- Experience working with bid management tools, content libraries, document control systems, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, CRM systems, Power BI dashboards).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Understanding of tendering processes, including PQQs, EOIs, ITTs, clarifications, governance steps, and submission protocols.
- Ability to analyse tender documents and identify key requirements, actions and risks.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including commercial, operational, technical and leadership stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accurate, compliant, and brand-aligned documentation.
