Equans is looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role, on offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
General Overview
The role of the Procurement Analyst is to design and develop analytics solutions across the P&C division. The solutions and service provided will cover delivery to multiple business functions across a full range of service lines and the output must be easily understood. As a subject matter expert, part of the role will also be increasing the overall analytics capability within P&C, driving best practice in ways of working and assisting others with the use of technology.
What will you deliver?
This is an important role for the P&C Procurement Function which is key to the success of wider Business Financial performance. Reporting to a Head of Procurement, this role is specifically responsible for:
- Developing and designing actionable data driven solutions delivering quantifiable benefits to the business.
- Having a clear vision for how solutions will deliver benefit, taking stakeholders on a journey and aligning the solution development to a 'to-be process' that ensures that value is captured in reality and not just in theory.
- Working with the business to ensure that data sources are accurate and reliable in order to support analysis work.
- Helping the business understand what data will be used for in order to advise on system requirements for the future.
- Researching techniques and methods being used within the industry to ensure that the business is keeping pace with developments regarding data science.

Who are we looking for?
Essential:
- Proven experience in a procurement, commercial, or analytical role within construction or a related industry.
- Strong numerical, analytical, Excel/data, Power BI & Automate and PowerPoint reporting skills.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, tendering, and supplier management processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
Desirable:
- CIPS Level 3 or higher (or working towards).
- Experience with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Evision).
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or Construction Management.
- Knowledge of relevant UK construction procurement regulations and frameworks.
