Equans is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team in Hatfield. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.
The Compliance Manager will lead on adherence to scheme delivery requirements, ensuring full compliance with funding and accreditation requirements while maintaining necessary associated accreditations. The role involves managing the PAS2030 Compliance Team, overseeing internal and external auditing processes, and ensuring that all compliance paperwork is accurately prepared and submitted within contractual deadlines to Clients, Energy Suppliers, and Accreditation Bodies.
What will you deliver?
Compliance Management
- Lead the PAS2030 Compliance Team to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Maintain oversight of internal and external auditing processes for national accreditation.
- Ensure all compliance paperwork related to the installation of Energy Efficiency measures is correctly documented in line with PAS 2030 standards.
- Maintain up-to-date reporting on all compliance activity to Head of Sustainability.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with all stakeholders to align compliance with main contract programs.
- Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures.
- Engage with key supply chain partners to support effective development and delivery.
Process & Documentation
- Ensure zero compliance failures due to poor or inaccurate submission information.
- Assist in the collation of relevant data and preparation of reports.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and share insights with the wider regional team.
- Undertake any other reasonable management requests.
- Develop PAS2030/MCS Supply Chain database with Supply chain Manager
- Review resource requirements with Head of Sustainability on regular basis .

Essential:
- Full Driving Licence with the ability to travel to multiple sites as required.
- Proven track record of learning new processes and adapting to new ways of working.
- Strong understanding that compliance failure can result in financial loss to the business.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications.
- Extensive knowledge of PAS2030, MCS and PAS2035 regulations.
- Proactive approach to compliance and process improvement.
- Relevant Health & Safety training.
- Managerial experience in a compliance-related role.
