Role Overview
This role involves delivering planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, alongside building fabric repairs, all in line with the site’s PPM schedule. You will apply your trade skills to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery as part of the Hard FM team.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs, and new installations using appropriate trade skills
- Maintain qualifications and training to meet safe working practices and take on Competent Person duties
- Identify, report, and record hazards and near misses promptly
- Assist with materials ordering, support contractor access, and aim for first-time fixes
- Carry out water system maintenance and legionella control as a Water Hygiene Competent Person
- Proactively address building fabric repairs to enhance facilities for users
- Keep accurate records using CAFM systems and ensure timely data updates
- Support the client liaising process and uphold Equans’ Customer Care standards
- Collaborate with Hard FM colleagues on small projects and cover absenteeism when required
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety protocols, company policies, and quality objectives
