Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time)
Equans is looking for an Area Technical Services Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Manage the onsite technical team, including sickness, absence and holidays, and involvement in appraisals and performance management.
- Produce monthly reports for the Account Manager(s) and ensure minimum service and unavailability deductions on all projects.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant policies and procedures, codes of practice, statutory requirements and professional standards.
- Develop and implement a dynamic planned preventative maintenance system to meet changing service requirements and demands on plant and equipment.
- Ensure both planned and reactive maintenance is carried out within budgetary, quality constraints and agreed service levels and legislation.
- Act as Technical Adviser to the Maintenance Team and relevant groups regarding management and operation of the engineering services, including development and maintenance of contingency plans.
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place as required.
- Keep the CAFM system up to date, ensuring all reactive and planned PPM tasks are completed within project agreements.
- Deliver a proactive subcontractor management strategy ensuring successful delivery of services into the contract, in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Qualifications
- ONC/HNC in Facilities Management (or equivalent specialist trade)
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- Proven experience in managing an FM Operations/Technical Services Team
- Experience of liaising directly with clients on similar FM projects
- Experience of undertaking AP/RP duties within similar FM projects
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
