The predicted salary is between 22000 - 30000 £ per year.
Based in Cannock WS11 6LD, Uttoxeter ST14 7BY and Stafford ST17 8NF. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. Salary: £26,436.80 per annum with benefits package. Shift times: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 16:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Carry out first line investigations into building faults and isolate / make safe where necessary, and arrange referral to engineer or specialist Service Partner through the contract management or dedicated Helpdesk.
- Carry out minor building maintenance works, including fabric, grounds, electrical and plumbing.
- Execute statutory and contractual Preventative Planned Maintenance tasks, including Water Hygiene, Fire Safety and Emergency Lighting.
- Accompany EQUANS Service Partners on site, issuing approved Permits and acting as the main point of contact.
- Provide Out-of-Hours emergency event cover as part of a rolling On-Call rota, covering all ten sites within Staffordshire (frequency subject to change).
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH regulations and uphold EQUANS Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Complete audits, ensuring on-site documentation is current, compliant and complete.
- Snow clearance and gritting in winter months; provide support to other sites within the portfolio as required.
- Provide a ‘Meet & Greet’ service to external Community Groups using the Community Facilities within the Fire Station, including set up and tidy away of required furniture.
- Report building misuse or damage to the Mobile Operations Supervisor promptly.
- Work under pressure, problem solve, and use initiative when necessary.
- Observe site rules and maintain a smart appearance.
- Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Mobile Operations Supervisor or Account Manager.
- Understand the operation of the building to maintain a positive on-site relationship with customers and inform management of potential or existing customer dissatisfaction in a timely manner.
- Provide cover for holidays, sickness and emergencies at all ten sites when required.
Requirements and qualifications
- Experience within the facilities management (FM) industry.
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.
- Physically fit to carry out general duties.
- Outgoing personality with strong customer service focus.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality service with attention to detail and communicate expectations to the team.
- Experience of completing Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- BPSS level vetting is required, including DBS clearance; ability to pass is essential.
