Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. This full-time role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance work on homes and properties managed by the company. We offer a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all types of repairs and maintenance work in a multi-skilled environment allied to the electrical trade discipline.
- Complete repairs and maintenance in other trade disciplines where deemed competent.
- Attend repairs and maintenance appointments on time and complete works on the first occasion, in one visit and within target times.
- Diagnose necessary remedial works, make appointments/arrangements and organise materials required.
- Remove or make arrangements for the removal of waste/debris on a daily basis and upon completion of any works.
- Assist in supporting the team to achieve KPI’s.
- Participate in the company’s out-of-hours emergency repairs and maintenance rota.
- Mentor and assist trainees, apprentices and other employees as required.

Qualifications
- City and Guilds (Electrical) or equivalent experience (essential).
- City and Guilds (Electrical) Inspection and Test or equivalent experience (essential).
- Relevant electrical qualification for the repair, installation and maintenance of electrical systems (essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
