EQUANS are recruiting for a Projects Co‑ordinator to be based in Crewe. This is a permanent full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,746 - £30,000 doe and benefits package.
General Overview
Equans deliver a comprehensive and quality service to our multi‑sector customers across the UK. We provide a 24/7 reactive/planned preventative maintenance service for technical building services and undertake some specialist project work involving plant replacements and refurbishments of commercial properties. The role is office/home based with a necessity to attend meetings across different sites as well as our local office in Crewe. This role is fundamental support to a Project Management team within a Facility’s Management account supporting construction and general project management on behalf of Cheshire East Council. This will require an experienced person with presence, commitment, exceptional management competencies and communication skills to ensure that the contracts financial budgets, quality, health & safety and operational commitments are met and exceeded.
Key Accountabilities
- Preparation of final accounts for all capital & minor works projects
- Creation of labour utilisation reports for all project’s operatives on a weekly basis
- Management of POEM across the account in conjunction with the senior project managers and finance business partner
- Creation of IOs for all new projects on the account and updating the projects tracker accordingly
- Management of all POs across projects & minor works on COUPA including raising and receipting them
- Management of purchase card logs for all project managers and minor works managers
- Appraisal of earned values via the WIP report and meetings with project managers to allow accurate billing
- Monitor and manage project WIP/Debt to an acceptable level
- Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored
- Attend meetings with clients, sub‑contractors, suppliers and other company members as necessary
- Responsible for the management of the capital projects tracker and ensuring all data it contains is correct to allow for accurate financial forecasts
- Ensuring all timesheets for projects operatives is inputted into SAP in a timely fashion
- Creation of monthly payment applications for capital works on projects
- Ensuring that project managers are correctly managing variations
- Holding a minimum of monthly 1‑2‑1s with all project managers to ensure that the projects tracker is kept up to date as well as any financial forecasts and to allow for POEM dates to be adjusted as required
- Oversee the administration of items relating to the costing of projects
- Achieve financial budget targets set by the Account Manager
- Compliance with and record keeping for Company ISO Quality Management Systems
- Other reasonable activities as necessary
