The Primary School Improvement Lead will play a central role in driving high standards across all primary schools within the Trust, ensuring consistency in teaching, learning and curriculum delivery. They will lead on curriculum development, assessment strategies and professional development programmes, embedding best practice and supporting continuous improvement.
Working closely with Headteachers and senior leaders, the postholder will conduct quality assurance activities, identify areas for development and support effective school improvement planning. The role includes coaching, mentoring and developing staff at all levels, as well as designing and delivering high-quality CPD aligned with the Trust’s priorities.
The successful candidate will promote collaboration across schools, build strong partnerships and contribute to cross-phase working to enhance outcomes for pupils. They will also use research and data to evaluate teaching and learning, inform practice and drive innovation across the Trust.
In addition, the role involves supporting schools with Ofsted readiness, modelling excellent practice and championing a culture of ambition, inclusion and continuous improvement.
