We are looking for empathetic, resilient Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs in Carmarthenshire. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (ALN), including learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support, tailored to individual needs
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and progress in every learner
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, ALNCOs, and external professionals
  • Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

What You'll Need:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs
  • A calm, caring and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one)
  • Right to work in the UK and currently based here
