Specialist ALN School | Ages 3–19
Rate: £90 - £100 per day
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant to join our client school, supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with a range of additional learning and developmental needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties, and general additional learning needs
- Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support in line with individual development plans
- Supporting speech, language, and differentiated learning activities to boost engagement
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and classroom inclusion
- Fostering pupil independence, self-esteem, and social confidence
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and specialist support professionals
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people with ALN
- Is calm, patient and caring, with a flexible and positive approach
- Works well as part of a team in a specialist setting
- Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
