We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Quality Control Operative to join our team at our Swindon Installation Depot. The role involves checking products and completed orders to ensure they meet the required standards before being approved for dispatch or installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting products for quality, accuracy and damage
- Checking measurements, materials and workmanship against job specifications
- Ensuring completed orders are correct and complete
- Identifying, recording and reporting defects or inconsistencies
- Preventing unsuitable or non-conforming products from being dispatched
- Ensuring identified issues are corrected before approval
- Carrying out final quality-control checks before dispatch
- Maintaining clear and accurate quality-control records
- Communicating quality concerns to the relevant manager or department
