Monday to Thursday 9.30am – 2.30pm
Our client is looking for a detail oriented and proactive accounts clerk to support the finance function and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you enjoy working with numbers and being part of a collaborative team this could be the role for you.
What you will be doing:
- Financial Record Keeping
- Maintains accurate books of accounts
- Records income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Using the accounting software, Sage 50
- Managing Payments & Receipts
- Handles customer invoices and collections (Accounts Receivable)
- Manages supplier payments (Accounts Payable)
- Tracks outstanding due
- Financial Reporting
- Prepares: Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements
- Provides reports to management
- Budgeting & Cost Control
- Helps prepare budgets
- Monitors expenses
- Suggests cost-saving measures
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
- Good communication skills
