Employed salary 25-27k FTE dependent on skills and experience. Flexible - employed or self-employed options available. Location: Fully remote (work from anywhere in the UK). We are a forward-thinking, down-to-earth law firm bringing a fresh, modern and client-first approach to employment law, with a clear focus on making high-quality legal support accessible, practical and genuinely helpful without the traditional legal stiffness. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Employment Paralegal or Legal Administrator with solid, hands-on experience in employment law to join our team. Our IT and systems are fully cloud-based and accessed via a secure remote desktop, allowing you to log in from your own laptop or computer while we provide all software, tools and ongoing support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Playing a key supporting role alongside our solicitors, working across a varied caseload.
- The work is primarily claimant-focused, with some exposure to employer matters.
- Assisting with the preparation and drafting of settlement agreements, employment contracts, policies and correspondence.
- Managing client communications and providing clear, timely updates.
- Organising case files, disclosure bundles and tribunal documentation.
- Conducting legal research on employment law matters.
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance and redundancy processes.
- Tracking deadlines, diarising key dates and managing tribunal timelines.
- Preparing attendance notes, file reviews and client updates.
- Handling general legal administration including invoicing, scheduling, document management and compliance checks.
- Liaising with clients, ACAS, tribunals and third parties on case progression.
- Supporting the development of training materials and client guides.
- Providing general support to ensure cases run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be a great fit if you are:
- A Paralegal or Legal Administrator with previous employment law experience.
- Possess litigation experience to carry out general litigation work.
- Confident in drafting commercial contracts and agreements.
- Knowledge of shareholder agreements would be advantageous.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing your own workload in a remote environment.
- Approachable and down-to-earth, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Interested in being part of a small, agile and growing firm.
- Someone who takes pride in supporting a team to deliver strong client outcomes.
