We are recruiting for a small, growing and ambitious UK business operating within the fleet and automotive sector, supporting commercial customers nationwide through a fast-moving and highly service focused environment. This is a high-visibility commercial role where you will take ownership of key customer relationships, drive account growth and work closely with operations and senior leadership to help shape service delivery, customer experience and long-term commercial success within a fast-moving fleet environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing operational performance and being genuinely involved in how a business grows and develops. We are looking for someone positive, commercially minded and motivated by making a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key fleet and commercial customers
- Drive account growth, retention and long-term customer value
- Lead customer review meetings and present performance insights and improvement plans
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery and SLA performance
- Work closely with senior leadership to support customer retention, operational improvement and commercial growth
- Build credibility and trust with customers by proactively identifying solutions, improvements and opportunities for added value
- Manage escalations and identify opportunities for service improvement
- Support onboarding of new customers and ensure operational requirements are embedded effectively
- Use data, KPIs and reporting to identify trends, risks and commercial opportunities
Skills & Experience
- Essential that you have experience within account management, commercial or B2B customer roles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to build long-term relationships
- Comfortable working with data, KPIs and performance metrics
- Experience within fleet, automotive, logistics, service or operationally focused environments is essential
- Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
