Job Description Head of Engineering £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience Full-time Office-based BD20 We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering Design function and play a key role in the continued development and future direction of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will provide technical and strategic leadership for the Engineering function. You will lead and develop the Engineering team, drive product development and continuous improvement, and ensure our products continue to meet the demanding requirements of our customers and markets. Leading, developing and supporting the Engineering Design team. Driving product improvement, innovation and engineering best practice. Working closely with Production Engineering to improve manufacturability and efficiency. Strengthening engineering processes, technical documentation and drawing control. You will be a degree-educated engineering leader with significant experience in valve design and pressure equipment. CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks. Leading and developing engineering or design teams. You will combine strong technical knowledge with proven leadership ability, commercial awareness and a drive to improve products, processes and performance.
