Working with clients across a range of commercial and construction projects, the business has built a strong reputation for safety, reliability and quality workmanship.
As part of their continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Working Supervisor with strong practical knowledge of Layher System Scaffolding to join their team.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, so you will be working alongside the team while taking responsibility for the safe and efficient running of day-to-day scaffolding operations on site.
Role overview You will supervise and support scaffolding crews carrying out the erection, modification and dismantling of Layher System scaffolding, making sure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading and supervising scaffolding teams on site
- Working hands-on alongside the team when required
- Overseeing the erection, alteration and dismantling of Layher System scaffolding
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
- Carrying out checks and inspections of scaffolding and Layher components
- Coordinating with site management and other contractors
- Planning workloads and helping the team meet project deadlines
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and housekeeping on site
- Identifying and resolving issues as they arise About you We are looking for someone with solid scaffolding experience who is confident leading a team while remaining hands-on on site.
You will need
- Strong practical experience with Layher System Scaffolding
- Previous experience supervising or leading scaffolding teams
- An in-date Scaffolding card
- SSSTS
- A good understanding of scaffolding safety standards and site procedures
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to lead by example and work well as part of a team
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- An HGV licence would be advantageous, but is not essential.
