Due to continued work and growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our established team.
The role
This is a varied position where no two projects are necessarily the same. You will work across Hull and the surrounding areas on a range of high-quality painting and decorating projects, including domestic, commercial and industrial work. We also undertake projects nationally, so there will occasionally be a requirement to work away from home. Where overnight stays are required, accommodation will be provided.
Typical duties will include:
- Preparing surfaces ready for painting and decorating
- Carrying out high-quality internal and external painting
- Applying a range of finishes to the required standard
- Working across domestic, commercial and industrial environments
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
- Working effectively as part of an experienced team
- Travelling to sites when required
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their trade and wants to become part of a long-established business. You will need:
- Previous professional painting and decorating experience
- A valid CSCS Card
- A full UK driving licence
- A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliability and excellent timekeeping
- A professional approach when working on customers’ premises
- Flexibility to occasionally travel and work away from home
- A genuine interest in painting and decorating and producing quality work
