Car Mechanic Salary £28K-£43k dependent on skills and experience Full Time, Permanent Location: Wakefield MUST LIVE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO WAKEFIELD An exciting opportunity has become available for a Car Mechanic within a Repair Shop located in Wakefield. Our client has a need for a Car Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative. The ideal mechanic will be fully qualified and experienced within the role. Duties: Servicing and repairs to a variety of cars and small vans. Fitting of exhaust, tyres, clutches timing belts etc. Most be fully skilled, time served. MOT Testing Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify vehicle Faults Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade Car Mechanic Requirements : A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence Dedicated and committed approach.
