My client is a growing, fast-paced business looking for an Accounts Analyst to join their finance team in Liverpool.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining core accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, reporting and the opportunity to provide meaningful insight to support business decisions.
- What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of key accounting processes including ledgers, invoicing, payments, reconciliations and debt management.
- Supporting month-end processes, management information and regular financial reporting.
- Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, discrepancies and areas requiring further investigation.
- Working with large datasets to provide meaningful analysis and insight to support business decisions.
- Supporting VAT returns, financial analysis and wider finance projects.
- Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider business to investigate issues and provide accurate financial information.
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.
About you
If you enjoy getting into the detail, making sense of data and understanding the story behind the numbers, this could be a great next step.
AAT qualified or nearing completion of Level 4, you will have practical finance experience, strong Excel skills and be comfortable working with large datasets.
Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Amazon Quick Sight or similar would be beneficial.
