About us

We are an established building services provider specialising in insurance repairs, property restoration and maintenance works within domestic homes.

Operating across Norfolk and Suffolk, we have built a strong reputation for dependable service, quality workmanship and looking after our customers.

Our work often involves helping homeowners following incidents that have caused damage to their property, so the quality of both our workmanship and customer service is extremely important.

Due to continued growth and a strong workload, we are now looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team covering Thetford and the surrounding area.

About the role

This is a varied, hands-on role carrying out plumbing repairs and associated works within customers' homes, including properties affected by insurance-related incidents.

Rather than being based on one site, you will travel to different properties within your allocated area using the company van provided.

You will be trusted to assess problems, identify the most appropriate solution and complete repairs to a high standard. You'll also be representing the company when working in customers' homes, so a professional, respectful and helpful approach is just as important as your technical ability.

We offer a steady workload and the security of permanent employment, making this a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for something long term.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out domestic plumbing repairs and installations
  • Attending insurance-related repair and restoration works
  • Diagnosing plumbing faults and identifying appropriate solutions
  • Repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and components
  • Completing work efficiently and to a high standard
  • Working safely and following relevant procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment within customers' homes
  • Communicating professionally with customers about the work being undertaken
  • Completing job paperwork and providing updates to the office team
  • Managing your daily workload and appointments effectively
  • Working alongside other trades where required
  • Highlighting any additional works or issues identified while on site

Skills and Experience

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Plumber who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently.

You should have:

  • Proven experience working as a Plumber
  • Strong domestic plumbing repair and maintenance experience
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your daily workload
  • High standards of workmanship
  • Good understanding of safe working practices
  • Professional and respectful approach when working in occupied homes
  • Reliable and organised approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Experience within insurance repairs, property restoration or domestic maintenance would be beneficial, although this isn't essential if you have strong plumbing experience.

If you're an experienced Plumber looking for a permanent position offering good rates of pay, a company van, fuel card and consistent ongoing work, we'd like to hear from you.
