Due to continued work and growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our established team.
The role
This is a varied position where no two projects are necessarily the same. You will work across Hull and the surrounding areas on a range of high-quality painting and decorating projects, including domestic, commercial and industrial work.
We also undertake projects nationally, so there will occasionally be a requirement to work away from home. Where overnight stays are required, accommodation will be provided.
Typical duties will include:
- Preparing surfaces ready for painting and decorating
- Carrying out high-quality internal and external painting
- Applying a range of finishes to the required standard
- Working across domestic, commercial and industrial environments
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
- Working effectively as part of an experienced team
- Travelling to sites when required
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their trade and wants to become part of a long-established business.
You will need:
- Previous professional painting and decorating experience
- A valid CSCS Card
- A full UK driving licence
- A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliability and excellent timekeeping
- A professional approach when working on customers’ premises
- Flexibility to occasionally travel and work away from home
- A genuine interest in painting and decorating and producing quality work
Above all, we need someone dependable who will turn up when expected, work hard and take pride in doing the job properly.
