Reporting into the Head of Revenue Operations, this role works closely with Sales, Product, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations, ensuring bids are delivered on time, are commercially coherent, and align with pricing strategy, risk appetite, and GTM priorities.

The Bid Manager plays a critical role in improving bid efficiency, consistency, and win rate, operating at the heart of cross-functional commercial decision-making and supporting sustainable revenue growth in a regulated, multi-product environment. This is a delivery-focused role, where success is measured primarily by the quality, consistency, timeliness and scalability of bid execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the operational delivery of end-to-end bid processes for complex RFPs, RFIs and bespoke commercial proposals.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations to coordinate inputs into bid responses and manage the bid process end to end.
  • Manage bid timelines, inputs, reviews, approvals, and submissions to agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure bids are commercially coherent and aligned to approved pricing frameworks, product capability, and risk appetite.
  • Apply commercial judgement to challenge inputs constructively, identifying gaps, risks, or inconsistencies and escalating through defined governance routes where required.
  • Maintain and improve bid content libraries, standard responses, and supporting materials to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Analyse bid outcomes, win/loss trends, and cycle times, and drive improvements in bid effectiveness and win-rate in partnership with RevOps and commercial leadership.
  • Partner closely with the Pricing Manager to ensure pricing inputs are accurate, consistent, and clearly reflected in bid responses.
  • Work with GTM Systems and Revenue Enablement to improve bid tooling, automation, AI assisted coverage, and process scalability across the commercial function.
  • Support continuous improvement of bid quality, governance, and execution as the business scales.
Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a Bid Manager, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, or similar role.
  • Proven experience managing complex, bespoke bids or RFPs in a B2B or B2B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial structures, pricing considerations, and risk governance.
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across commercial, product, and control functions.
  • Highly organised with strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Confident communicator, able to apply judgement, challenge constructively, and drive alignment.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or other regulated industries preferred.
