Equals Railsr is hiring a Pricing Manager to support the effective execution, governance, and consistency of pricing across a complex, multi-product commercial environment. Reporting into the Head of Revenue Operations, this role operates at the intersection of Sales, Bids, Product, Risk, Finance, and Operations, ensuring pricing decisions are commercially sound, aligned to risk appetite, and applied consistently across deals, channels, and customer segments. This is a senior individual‑contributor role focused on applying pricing discipline, commercial judgement, and structured decision making to support sustainable and scalable growth across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support complex and bespoke commercial deals with detailed pricing analysis and recommendations across multiple products and pricing tiers.
- Own and continuously improve multi‑tier, multi‑product pricing frameworks, rate cards, and deal‑level pricing models.
- Lead the standardisation and documentation of pricing structures across products, channels and customer segments.
- Drive the systemisation of pricing practices by utilising pricing tools, models and workflows reducing reliance on manual approaches.
- Ensure pricing inputs into bids, RFPs, and commercial proposals are accurate, consistent, and aligned to approved frameworks.
- Operate and support discount governance processes, ensuring appropriate approvals and escalation routes are followed.
- Evaluate pricing trade‑offs across margin, risk, volume, and customer lifetime value to support informed commercial decision‑making.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive analysis to ensure pricing decisions are commercially competitive and value aligned.
- Analyse pricing outcomes, margins, and deal economics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner closely with the Bid Manager to ensure pricing is clearly and coherently reflected in bid responses.
- Work with Sales and Commercial teams to improve pricing understanding and discipline.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Finance teams to ensure pricing reflects capability, appetite, and regulatory constraints.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a pricing, commercial analytics, revenue operations, or similar role.
- Strong analytical capability with experience working on complex pricing models and deal economics.
- Good understanding of B2B commercial structures, margin drivers, and discounting dynamics.
- Comfortable operating in environments with complex products, pricing matrices, and regulatory considerations.
- Able to balance commercial pragmatism with governance and control.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate complex pricing concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or other regulated environments preferred.
