Equals Money is a leading payments and financial operations platform helping businesses simplify, control, and optimise their money movement. With more than a million customers served over 18 years, our award-winning portfolio spans travel money, international transfers, card issuing, FX hedging, and expense management.
In May 2025, Equals Money and Railsr came together to form a single, more powerful fintech. The merger unlocks a rare moment: we have the scale, regulatory foundation, and infrastructure of an established business, combined with the urgency, complexity, and ambition of a high-growth company rebuilding its operating model for the next decade.
To deliver on this vision, we are transforming how our business works from the inside out. We are building integrated systems, automated workflows, and AI-enabled processes that will power faster onboarding, stronger compliance, better decision-making, and rapid international expansion.
We are looking for a Product Manager who loves solving hard problems, creating order from chaos, and driving meaningful, measurable change. If you have a background in business analysis or consulting and want to take ownership of real products, this is an opportunity to step into a role where your work directly shapes how the company runs.
You will be a key driver of our digital transformation agenda. This means getting deep into the operational engine of the company, redesigning how teams work today, and building the systems, automations, and workflows that will support our next phase of growth. No two days will be the same: one day you could be mapping a compliance monitoring process, the next evaluating treasury automation tooling, the next shaping how AI-powered agents support internal teams.
You will take on some of the most important challenges in the business, including:
- Eliminating manual, fragmented processes that slow the organisation down.
- Delivering finance automation across reconciliation, treasury, and reporting.
- Rebuilding customer support tooling with Amazon Connect and a unified internal portal.
- Introducing AI based compliance, legal, and servicing workflows.
- Enabling self service through low code AI agents that reduce dependency on operations teams.
- Helping integrate two companies' systems and processes into a single, scalable operating model.
This is a role for someone who wants responsibility, visibility, and impact. You will be working on real problems that teams feel every day, and the improvements you deliver will immediately show up in better SLAs, lower cost-to-serve, cleaner data, and smoother customer experiences.
You will sit within the Product organisation, report to the Head of Product, and work closely with engineering, data, operations, finance, compliance, and senior leadership.
Product ownership: Drive the roadmap for internal automation and workflow modernisation across Finance, HR, Compliance, Operations, Commercial, and Legal. Frame the right problems, define KPIs and ROI, and ensure strong alignment with Product and business leadership.
Process and process automation: Map current workflows in detail and redesign them for automation. Work with engineering to build automated processes, decision engines, internal APIs, and AI powered tools that make work faster, simpler, and more accurate.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities, influence decisions, and gain buy in. Lead change management by creating documentation, training, and rollout plans that land well with teams.
Technical analysis and delivery: Write clear user stories, process maps, and requirements. Shape solution designs with engineering and ensure smooth, timely delivery of transformation initiatives.
Performance and continuous improvement: Define and track KPIs such as cycle time, error rate, SLA performance, adoption, and operational cost. Run structured feedback loops and iterate based on how teams actually use the new tools and workflows.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in a product management, business analyst, transformation, or consulting role.
- Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills, including process mapping and business case creation.
- Ability to work in the detail while also influencing and presenting to senior leaders.
- Experience delivering internal tools, automation, or workflow improvements with engineering and operations teams.
- Comfortable working across multiple business areas and navigating competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complexity into clear recommendations and requirements.
- Confident in defining KPIs, quantifying impact, and using data to guide prioritisation.
- Experience in a regulated environment, ideally fintech or financial services.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience contributing to digital transformation or large-scale operational change.
- Understanding of finance operations, payments, compliance, treasury, or customer operations.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Lucidchart, or similar process-visualisation platforms.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary benchmarked against a peer group.
- 25 days holiday per year + your birthday off.
- Opportunities for progression, development and learning new skills - £250 towards the cost of learning & development.
- Free onsite Nuffield Health gym & pool (London) and discounted gym membership elsewhere.
- GetActive with Aviva - Health and Wellbeing discounts on services and products.
- Interbank currency rates on travel money and international transfers.
- Bupa Private Healthcare.
- Free Eye Test and £50 up to the cost of glasses.
- EAP Service - Mental Health Services.
- Life Assurance Policy - x3 annual salary.
- Contributory pension scheme.
- Cycle to Work Scheme.
- Season Ticket Loans.
- Enhanced Parental Policies.
- Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and fruit.
