About the role
You will own a portfolio of BaaS and white-label clients in the CFD and crypto space, acting as their day-to-day commercial relationship lead. Your job is to keep these accounts growing - building strong partnerships, spotting cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and helping each client get more value from their Equals Money programme. It is a commercial role with real ownership: you will run your own account plans, lead client reviews, negotiate renewals, and be measured on revenue against monthly and annual targets.
What you will do
- Own and grow a portfolio of BaaS and white-label clients (CFD and crypto focused) worth upwards of £2m, against monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Build and execute a clear account plan for each client, with prioritised growth opportunities, agreed milestones and a rolling forecast.
- Be the day-to-day commercial point of contact across the lifecycle of each client's programme – from go-live, through scaling, to renewal.
- Identify and secure cross-sell and upsell opportunities across FX, payments, multi currency accounts and card products.
- Lead Monthly Account Reviews with your clients and maintain accurate forecasts on HubSpot.
- Negotiate new and renewing contracts, including pricing, commercial terms and SLAs.
- Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships across each client – commercial, product, operations and compliance contacts.
- Work closely with our internal Product, Compliance and Operations teams to deliver a great client experience and unblock issues quickly.
- Monitor pricing, FX margins and account activity through our MI dashboards to protect revenue and spot opportunities.
- Stay close to CFD and crypto market trends and bring those insights into client conversations.
- Represent Equals at industry events and client meetings as a credible, knowledgeable partner.
What you will bring
- Minimum 4 years' account management experience in B2B payments, BaaS or fintech.
- Working knowledge of BaaS and white-label programmes.
- Industry knowledge of CFD and crypto clients.

- Sound knowledge of API integrations and how they underpin payment and card products.
- CRM experience with HubSpot – pipeline, forecasting and account activity.
- Commercially driven, target driven, and a genuine can-do attitude.
- Strong negotiation skills – confident handling pricing conversations and contract terms.
- Excellent stakeholder management – able to build trust at multiple levels of a client.
- Strong presentation and proposal skills – clear, structured, and tailored to the audience.
- Good analytical skills – able to interpret reporting and turn data into actions.
- Organised and structured – disciplined approach to account planning, forecasting and follow-ups.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a regulated business where compliance, security and innovation work side by side.
