Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  • Assist students in their learning on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support students with their social and emotional development
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to enhance student learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote student well-being

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Registration with the EWC (or willingness to register)
