We are looking for empathetic, resilient Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs at our partner school in Llanelli. You don’t need to be a qualified teacher to make a massive difference; you just need patience and the ability to build strong relationships. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs (ALN), including learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support, tailored to individual needs.
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and progress in every learner.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, ALNCo(s), and external professionals.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs.
  • A calm, caring and flexible approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one).
  • Right to work in the UK and currently based here.
