Equal Teaching is seeking confident, motivated, and reliable Cover Supervisors to support one of our partner secondary schools in Aberystwyth. If you’re adaptable, professional, and enjoy working with young people, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervising classes during teacher absence
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
- Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged
- Supporting a wide range of subjects across the curriculum
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders
- Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
What You’ll Need:
- Experience working with children or young people (school, coaching, mentoring, youth work, etc.)
- Confidence managing a classroom
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A calm, professional and flexible approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one)
- Right to work in the UK and currently based here
