No two days are the same in this role. We are looking for empathetic and resilient individuals to support students with Additional Learning Needs. You don’t need to be a qualified teacher to make a massive difference; you just need patience, a sense of humour, and the ability to build strong relationships. What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting Students: Working with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Building Confidence: Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to help every child shine.
- Positive Behaviour: Helping the teacher manage the classroom and promoting a calm, positive environment.
- Encouraging Independence: Helping learners make progress and believe in themselves.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with teachers, ALNCOs, and external professionals to get the best outcomes for the children.
- Safeguarding: Upholding the highest standards of pupil wellbeing.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs.
- A calm, caring and flexible approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one).
- Right to work in the UK and currently based here.
