About the Role
This is "real teaching" in a purpose‑built online classroom – not just a video call. You focus on the students; we handle the curriculum.
- Deliver high‑quality Health and Social Care lessons (WJEC specification).
- Teach through the medium of Welsh if bilingual, or as an English‑medium specialist.
- Engage students and assess learning using pre‑created resources – no lesson planning required.
- Commit to 5–25 lessons per week, primarily between 08:30 and 17:00.
The Process
The process includes an interview, a platform training session, a "Microteach" lesson observation, and an asynchronous induction course.
Requirements
- DBS: Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
- UK‑Based History: No recent overseas work that would trigger additional safety checks.
- Availability: Start immediately after induction.
- QTS: Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
- Subject Specialism: Experience delivering Health and Social Care, specifically the WJEC specification.
- Welsh Language: Ability to teach through the medium of Welsh is highly desirable.
- Tech Ready: Reliable laptop/PC, stable internet connection, and headset.
