A growing contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of construction projects within the water sector. The role involves supervising Project Managers, ensuring projects run from site set‑up through to handover, and maintaining strong client relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- HND in Engineering or related degree
- Understanding of Engineering Principles
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CSCS Card
- Experience and confidence in managing a team
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
YOUR NEW ROLE
- Lead project delivery across multiple schemes
- Develop and execute procurement strategies
- Monitor progress and produce monthly client reports
- Manage changes to scope and client requirements
- Train and develop supervisory and operational teams
- Create and manage contract programmes
- Build relationships with clients, local authorities, and the supply chain
- Support bid and tender activity
- Attend meetings and represent the business professionally
- Oversee quality, health & safety and cost control
