A Leeds-based engineering consultancy is looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role suits either a recent graduate or someone with early post-graduate experience who wants hands-on exposure across commercial, residential, retail and industrial projects.
You’ll work directly with experienced engineers and technical leads, gaining structured development, real project responsibility and a clear pathway towards professional accreditation.
YOUR NEW ROLE
- Carry out structural analysis and prepare calculations across a range of projects
- Use industry-standard design and analysis software
- Produce technical reports, presentations and supporting documentation
- Attend design and site meetings, including occasional overnight stays
- Undertake site inspections and support project delivery
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, contractors and wider design teams
- Work to agreed budgets, timelines and project requirements
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience (not essential for strong graduates)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence
